A diet rich in....occupational therapy
Hunter has been receiving occupational therapy for over a year to target his sensory needs. We have learned so much from his OT regarding regulating his system with a sensory diet. I have read several books and articles, tried our own methodology, and have realized that a good day revolves around a happy sensory system. We made a sensory box that is filled with a weighted lap pillow(made by a sweet friend), fidgits, and the following items listed on individual index cards, organized by each system.
