FLORIDA, BABY!
My parents found the most beautiful beach house- and the kids set off exploring the minute we pulled in the drive! After a 2 day drive (and catching a nasty cold, making me a miserable tour guide), we were ready to get out and enjoy the FL beauty!
porch swing outside our bedroom
Paige's favorite part of the trip- the cruiser bikes. We were able to scooter and bike down the boardwalk right to the beach. And the pool was right across the street!
We found our little froggy friend- he was so cute!
The day we arrived, so did a tropical storm. It ended up causing a little river between the beach access and the water. Our kids loved playing in the red tinted water (from pine needles).
Hunter basically learned to scooter while we were in FL- it was the quickest way to the beach. He would ask to go out in scooter when he woke up, and sometimes we would be on the back porch and he would zip around the house. We ended up buying him his own scooter when we got back for his birthday!
A friend sent us with some yummy vegetables from their garden
More beach days
Our favorite lunch spot- complete with souvenir shopping next door!
SO funny- a "grumpy hour" in the morning!
Uncle Greg made a last minute flight to join us for a couple of days- the kids (and adults!) were stoked!
Some lazy mornings with card games and jammies
look how cute this guy is
the boys were able to golf twice- their happy place
and...back to the beach!
always fun to do a little burying...

couldn't have a FL trip without clue! Aunt G's last night :(
Even in vacation mode, though, Dad has to vacuum :)
Photo shoot with the parents
Hunter wanted us to celebrate his birthday, but he ended up getting upset, throwing a present from Aunt Gretchen, screaming, and going to bed without his cake. Sometimes, life is hard- even on birthdays!
We decided to eat in Seaside for the last night in FL, and we dressed up for another little photo shoot.
yummy dinner at the Great Southern Cafe
