Paige Turns 9! And other greatness...

Paige turned nine this past Friday!  We celebrated Veteran's Day at school...

and then two days later opened presents bright and early!

Paige requested a cookie cake for her friends, so in an attempt to save some money, we did a mommy cake!

I saw my preemie friend post this idea below, of taking a picture of your child with their NICU picture on their birthdays.  She was SO tiny...and now look at her!

Then it was party prep time!  How do you get ready for mass chaos- 22 girls were about to invade our house for Paige's Hollywood Chef party.  We were making homemade pizzas, with from scratch sauce...
 all the fixings...

and a gold star on the Hollywood walk of fame for these girls...

Paige really wanted a photo booth, so we gathered all of our props, bought some new, creative pieces, and let the girls go to work while the pizzas were cooking!

Paige picked out the cake!

And as we tended to the pizzas in the kitchen, a disaster was waiting to happen...

it started as a little smear on everyone's nose...

and then it was all over...

So we turned the sugar crazed girls to a dance party in the family room.  Whip Nae Nae over and over and over again....
The girls all signed each other's aprons with fabric markers and we handed the sugar-crazed, energetic group of girls to their parents...

and then we hopped in the photo booth!

 Check out these two characters...

The best excitement of the night came for us when we dumped out the bucket of donation toys that Paige had suggested.  She wanted to donate items to the prize closet at the infusion center where Hunter goes for IVIG.

She is going to make some of those little patients quite happy.  Love this girl's heart.

We had some great horse riding moments for the last lesson of the season.

And he is learning to stand on the horse!! Trotting will come soon!

Paige won her championship soccer game in their tournament- and had the game winning goal (1-0)!  It was an exciting game to watch- they battled it out for an hour!

And then...I mean...how could you ever tell this kiddo no??  He was a pilgrim and an Indian- overachiever.

Thankful for these blessings in our lives!
