Catching up with Christmas parties...

After a hard weekend, Hunter started the week before Christmas break strong.  He had no trouble hopping out of the car all week, he made several projects, invited a friend roller skating, and was completely pleasant at home.  Now if we could just get him to stop waking in the middle of the night- too much excitement and anticipation at this time of year!

Stocking opening time!

He wanted me to take a picture of his table- but one girl was missing.  He made me wait until she got back to take the picture!

Something was funny!!

AND THE BEST PART OF ALL...
He was named student of the week- 3 purple days!!! Check out that smile!!

Friday, the big kids got out early for break.  So I took the little one to see a train display with some buddies.  Had to take advantage of the time with just Peyton!

Hunter's request after a half-day- Roller skating with a friend! And this sweet family offered to have Hunter stay- ON HIS OWN- as I took Paige and her friend back home.  It was the first time he stayed with a friend; Paige said in the car, "It's weird not to have Hunter here!"  And I had to agree.  But at the same time, SO awesome.

After skating, we had a caroling party at a friend's house.  Super fun night for most, and Hunter started in the group, but after too many M&Ms, cupcakes, and excitement, Hunter ran upstairs and cried.  He was too anxious to join the group, then upset that they started without him...he ended up going home early with Daddy as his frustration turned into an angry fit.  But Paiger had a blast!

SANTA party!  According to Paige, he was the real deal.  So much fun!

yes, of course, Santa, I listen to my mom and dad

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, and to all a good night!  See you after the holiday!
