Open House at school

Before spring break, the district had an open house night to see all of their hard work over the school year.  We started the night at Paige's school, where Jump Rope for Heart was being showcased in the gym.  We went to Paige's classroom and Hunter went to sit in the book center, as we looked through Paige's hard work in journals, art, books, and pictures around the classroom.  Even though the room was loud and crowded, Hunter did amazing...I actually could have pictured him in the classroom.

After leaving the classroom, we headed to the even more crowded gym...Paige wanted to show us her new jumping skills.  But she wasn't the only one to jump...Hunter ran around, grabbing jump ropes and trying it out. We were thrilled!

Paige and daddy went to soccer practice, and we drove to Hunter's school, where he attends two days/week in an integrated classroom.  He was excited to see his teachers and show me his favorite centers (take a wild guess...computers!).

How many turtles tall is Hunter?

Sweet, amazing Ms. Karen (teacher of the year last year!)

Even after going between two schools with large crowds and dealing with wait time between, Hunter was perfect and only had a few brief meltdowns.  It was fun to see him in his school environment- and he seemed proud of himself, too.
