Paige has started the local swim team, after trying out a few weeks ago and making the cut. She swam in her first swim meet last weekend and had a great time. Here's a few pictures:

A little celebratory ice cream for this beauty!
After Paige's last soccer game, Hunter started to talk about wanting to be on a team. "Mommy, why is everyone else having so much fun? I want to be on a team!" Not sure if he really knows what being on a team involves, but he is aware of the team atmosphere and Paige's participation. I would LOVE for him to join a team, to feel a part of something.

Swam all the way across the pool on own! |
His adapted swim lessons started this past Friday and he loved the time in the water. Coach Mary was very patient and was impressed with his skills in the water. "He's a natural swimmer! I can't believe how well he can swim!" His eight lessons with Miss Carina this summer were one of the best investments we have ever made. Now if he can just work on perfecting that stroke- I would love to see him join a swim team in the future and be able to excel at an activity.
Speaking of excelling...had to mention Paige receiving Citizen of the Month. First kindergartner in her class chosen for the honor! She is such a great big sister and her protective nature for her brothers has made her the most caring, considerate, and compassionate little girl. So proud of this pretty lady...
