Christmas 2013

Christmas morning started at 5 AM- Hunter ran downstairs and into our room, "Mommy! Daddy! Santa came! He brought me the Ninja knockout!!"  It was hard to get him back to bed, so when Paige woke up at 6, we told them they could go and wake Peyton and the day would begin.

Santa arrived!  Batcave and Buzz for Peyton, Yoga mat and tablet for Paige, and Ninja Knockout and Thomas TrackMaster Castle Quest for Hunter..  Oh, and a new coffee maker for mommy and daddy.  He must have known it was a key gift to make it through the day!

We saved a few big surprises in the garage for the kids.  After letting them enjoy their other gifts for a bit, we told them we had another surprise for them....they were pretty excited to see these new outdoor toys!

Grandma and Grandpa B were supposed to arrive that night after dinner, but ice and flat tires delayed their flight, so the kids had to wait to see them until the morning.  Fun times with the grandparents!

Started the day off by pulling out another tooth!!  Tooth fairy and Santa in the same week!
Naughty and nice (all nice for these kiddos) cards from Santa himself!

Temple Run was a big hit with these kiddos

Packer Game day!!  Love these cute boys.
Breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa B

One of her fave presents- a Marker Maker from B.  Made 16 markers in one day!

 GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!!

Dinner in our jammies...and Daddy in a Christmas Vest.

We went to a nearby city known for a neighborhood that has an amazing participation of Christmas light displays.  This house had some athletes dressed up in Santa costumes dancing to the radio.

Beautiful day- almost 60 degrees!  Spent the day at the park.

Paige found several friends at the park- three from her class!!

That afternoon, we headed to a large hotel known for its Christmas decorations.  The kids had fun seeing the trains, the trees, and walking around the displays.

B and Grandpa B found a fun house

I don't tell this little girl to pose...this is pure Paige personality.

Hunter didn't want to sit for a picture, but when he saw Paige and Peyton sitting with us, he ran over and joined the group.
After the hotel, we went to our favorite pizza place for gluten free pizza and BYOB wine.  YUM!

Grandma and Grandpa left New Year's Eve morning ,so we got ready for our friends to celebrate an early new year with the kids.  Started making our flourless chocolate cake..

Kids have been into the Frozen movie- Grandma B gave them the characters and they ALL played together! It's a Christmas miracle!

flourless cake with cream cheese frosting

Kids made their own sundaes and the adults hoped the sugar rush wouldn't last too long.

As it got later, Hunter decided he wanted to go to bed, and Paige read everyone else bedtime stories.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!
