Pediatrician review/ St. Nick Day

I scheduled an appointment with our pediatrician to review the recent testing and procedures that we had completed for Hunter.  She actually went to medical school with the infectious disease doctor who sent her the final report!  She spoke very highly of her and agreed with her diagnosis.  I have attached it below...

She had the nurses complete an EKG due to the rheumatic fever question, and it was NORMAL.  Whew! Our pediatrician would still like us to see the pediatric cardiologist that does clinic once a week at their office.

Today is St. Nick Day, a tradition that my family has celebrated since I can remember.  St. Nick used to put presents in the poor children's shoes, and on Dec. 6th, these surprised children would awake to treats or money.  St. Nick was so busy filling the kids' stockings last night that somehow Elfie forgot to change places!  How disappointed was Hunter when he walked into my room this morning and said with his shoulders slumped, "Elfie is STILL in the picnic basket!"  Ooops!

Here's a couple pictures from the morning...
How did St. Nick know I still love McQueen? And where does he keep finding new ones?!?!  Cactus patch McQueen

Peyton was in heaven with his new "Choooo CHoooo"

Also had one video of Hunter using the word, "humongous."  LOL!

St. Nick is the real Santa Clause, who followed Jesus' words to "sell what you own and give the money to the poor." Nicholas used his inheritance (from his parents who passed away) to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering.  He was known for his generosity to those in need and his love for children.  There are many stories of his protection for children, even after he had passed away, like small miracles of children being reunited when lost, returning children to good health when ill, and calming storms.  St Nick, not only on this day that we honor you and your service, but always, continue to bring protection and guidance to all children and those in need.
