Last Day- We did it! IVIG #3

We completed the first three rounds of intensive, high dose IVIG!  Hunter is such a trooper!

When we made the decision to go ahead with the procedures, we were so nervous about our choice...and now that we are finished, it seems so long ago.  Heading to the hospital for four days every month for the last three months became sort of routine.

Here are a few pictures from today:
the boys thought this ear with arms and legs was so funny

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these eyes!  You can see the iris...they aren't just dilated pupils!

And now we wait.

We wait patiently for the changes we have been seeing to continue, and hope for additional improvements along the way.

My friend dropped these flowers off for us yesterday- Hunter was in the middle of a big rage.  We had stopped at Walgreens and he saw an Easter egg he really wanted.  I had him pick out a smaller one for his basket, and he ran out in the garage multiple times, slammed his door, hit the TV...screaming "I want that big egg!" over and over and over.  OCD at its finest.  I couldn't believe we were having the magnitude of the rage that was occurring, immediately following IVIG.  What went wrong???  He finally calmed down, and I had a chance to look at the vase that the flowers were in... and it had a perfect Bible verse printed on it...

HE HAS MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN ITS TIME.

Such a good reminder to not count all of the bad twice, especially when it comes with the good...progress can be gradual, and it can take its time, but the beauty of recovery will arrive.

All in His time.
