I was able to reach Dr. G's nurse this week and she said her recommendation was to schedule an appointment with an Infectious Disease doctor. Children's would put the referral through, and they would schedule us with the right doctor after they reviewed Hunter's case. I attempted to schedule the appointment Friday, but the receptionist wanted to brief his health history with the doctor on call and they would call me Monday to schedule the appointment. They assign appointments about a week out, so I am hoping we are in to see him before Thanksgiving.
We'll see what he has to say about this sweet boy.
