Granola kids

All children need whole grains in their diet...Hunter doesn't get as many, being gluten free.  He LOVES granola- and this is an easy, healthy, low sugar (you use honey vs. sugar or corn syrup) granola that is a favorite in our house.

GRANOLA
4 c oats (GF- Bob's Red Mill are fairly inexpensive)
2 c raisins
1/2 c honey
1/2 c butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
dash salt

Combine honey, butter, cinnamon, and vanilla.  Microwave until melted (2 minutes).  Pour over oats.  Spread on a cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 for 18-20 min (I always stir halfway through to prevent burning).
