A moment (well, several moments) of panic

Another weekend, another day at the pool.  Today was very crowded- glad we were both there to help with the three kiddos.  Hunter, Paige, and Peyton all loved climbing the slides, and saw some friends there to join in swimming.  About an hour after we were there, Hunter had crawled up the ladder to wait for the slide.  The water flow stopped, the lifeguards blew their whistles, and exclaimed, "Adult swim only!  All children out of the pool!"  I had been sitting on the side, right in front of the slide, and thought he was either stuck inside the slide, or got scared and didn't want to slide down.  Peter walked up the stairs, and he wasn't anywhere to be found.  Panic set in- my heart started beating so fast, as kids were exiting the pools left and right, a swarm of children and adults.  I ran to the gate to see if he had exited the pool area towards the park- no luck.  Peter, Paige, and Peyton went one way in the pool and I enlisted a friend to help the search.  Paige saw him standing by the lilly pads, an area for children taller than Hunter.  We are assuming that when the whistle blew, he wanted out of there- he must have climbed down the back stairs and ran the other way.  One quick look away to the other children and he was gone.  A scary, but good lesson, that he is not past the point of fleeing a situation that he dislikes.

Here's a few pics before Peter and I had our panic attacks...
