an olympic valuable quote and lesson of life

Peter and I were just watching a taped track and field event (Mens 400) and even though I have not finished my work for tonight, haven't finished writing a report, and still haven't continued my vacation posting, I had to relay this beautiful message from Oscar Pitorius...

"Being disabled doesn't have to mean being disadvantaged."

Watching this man, who had to have his legs amputated at 11 months of age, compete with "able-bodied" athletes in a semi-final Olympic event, tugged at my heart.  What an amazing tribute to all of those with physical and other disabilities.

Thank you Oscar for this powerful statement!
