Photo and Video Dump :)

A few weekends of parties, outings, swimmings...wanted to document all the fun things we have been doing!
Hunter's ABA therapist has taken a job with the school district and will no longer be working with us.  Boo!  So happy for her, but we are going to miss having her around!  She has taught us so much about behavior, consequences, and Hunter learned so many things from her.  We decided to go see "Brave" as our last session for this year.  It was too loud for Hunter, and Paige and her friend were scared at different points in the movie, so we stayed in the theater for approximately half of the show...but we made it!

He thought it was pretty cool that Batman was not only on his shirt, but on the wall!

Paige has started tennis lessons on Saturday mornings- so fun to watch the little ones running around the court!  Hunter isn't too fond of it, but we did plan a breakfast at Le Peep after to encourage him to watch his sister.

Le Peep has gluten free pancakes- yummo!  Paige enjoys their "funny face" pancake and Hunter wanted chocolate chip pancakes.  No joke- he ate one and a half platefuls of pancakes.

Great smiles!

So impressed with the eye contact in these pictures and the fact that we didn't need the ipad or phone to make it through brunch.  That is some serious progress. :)

Hunter also was invited to a couple of parties...the first was a circus party at an indoor playground.  Hunter did great- even stayed inside for the happy birthday song.  He was super excited about the popcorn and lollypops on the table.  He saw a friend from his preschool class and actually ran up to him, and said, "Come on!"  They chased each other for a bit around the stairs and slides.
The second party was at the Museum of Science in their planetarium.  He wasn't too sure about the zipped planaterium bubble, but finally stepped inside. He screamed that it was too loud, and the teenage worker was kind of clueless next to me; ("why does he think it is loud??")  Once the show got going, he sat and listened to the travels of Elmo throughout space.  They did an art project and then had fun GF push pops.  After the party, I walked Hunter around the different exhibits and he was particulary fond of the "crab."  When he put his hand on the button, it lit up a sea creature in the background.  He still asks me to go back and see the crab.

We have been swimming at our sweet neighbor's house who has so generously been sharing her pool with us this summer.  We had a fabulous teacher who truly taught them to swim.  I don't even have to be in the pool with them and I feel very comfortable.  They first learned to survival float in case they fatigued- and Hunter loves being on his back.  These fish love the water!
